Summer Adventure #1 – Movie Night, Weenie Roast, and Seven Peaks Resort

I have been meaning to get some pictures on here of all our summer adventures…  Well, Better late than never!

Our first fun excursion of the summer was with mom…  It started Friday afternoon, we went to see a movie “Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs”.  The kids absolutely loved it.  I will have to go see it again, Grace didn’t want to sit still.  After the movie we drove up Millcreek Canyon and roasted hot dogs and marshmellows.  Jake especially loved that.  He was able to hike and play around in the little stream.  I don’t think he was too interested in the fire, but he loved being up in the mountains.  (I am a dummy and didn’t get the camera out of the car, but hey, I had it there.)  The next morning we all woke up and drove to Provo to Seven Peaks Resort!  It was a little overcast and we got some rain, but that was great because everyone left when it started raining and the lines were much shorter.  I think this was Jake’s favorite part of the whole weekend.  Jake loved the waterslides, and being able to play in the water with his cousins all day.  Thank you mom for the fun adventure!
